Dirty Blonde EP out April 7
LA-based teen rocker chick Diamante premiered her new song, "There's A Party In My Pants (and You're All Invited)", yesterday at Revolver. The single will be featured in her upcoming EP 'Dirty Blonde,' out April 7. "There's A Party In My Pants" is the third single to be released since "Bite Your Kiss" that hit #3 on Billboard's Hot Singles Chart in 2014.
""There's a Party in My Pants (and You're All Invited)" is about bringing all different kinds of people together despite their race, age, sexuality, etc. and genuinely having fun."- Diamante said in a recent interview with Revolver. "The people I have met living in Hollywood these past few months and the real-life experiences I've had inspired the rebellious spirit in this song. I wanted to write something that was in-your-face, upbeat, and more than anything, something that defied societal norms and really spoke to everyone."
Diamante will be joining female fronted rock band FLYLEAF on Revolver's Hottest Chicks Tour beginning next week. The tour begins on April 8 and the lineup includes- Flyleaf, Fit For Rivals, The Agonist (on select dates), Diamante and Falling For Scarlet. Shortly after the Revolver tour, Diamante will set out again in June to join Whitesnake's The Purple Tour for a series of select dates. Diamante will join the tour on June 2 in Santa Rosa, CA and will continue until the tour hits Houston. TX on June 20.
At only 18, this rocker and her self written songs, has also taken home the title of Best Rock Records at the Indie Music Channel Awards two years in a row, as well as wins in the categories of Best Young Artist, Best Rock Recording, Best Music Video for "Impossible," and the coveted title of Teen Artist of the Year. Diamante can be compared to a modern day Pat Benatar or Debbie Harry with her powerful and edgy sound.
