I don't think there are any surprises here. AVENGERS destroyed all in ticket sales. With nearly $200 mill in domestic sales alone, the #2 movie had merely $6.25 mill. What IS The Age of Adaline?

After it's long run at the #1 spot, Furious Seven dropped directly to #3 and I expect it to vanish quickly with summer blockbuster season upon us.

I posted the top seven this week because I wanted to include sci-fi / drama Ex Machina. That was a movie that intrigued me when i saw the trailer for it, but didn't even realize that it's been on screens already. With a budget of 11 million euros and ticket sales nearing $20 mill, it's quietly done okay.

But let's all remember why everyone is really seeing The Avengers...
