LA based performing artist Tara Macri has released her official lyric video for her brand new, power pop single "Prettiest Girl In The Room."
"The single is as much as a girl anthem as it is about blowing up the princess myth," says Tara. "This song is about when you have a bad day and you have that person you can call - they keep you grounded and help you be your best self! I hope that anyone listening to the song can use it as a source of empowerment to accomplish whatever they set out to do."
Tara collaborated with producer Greg Collins (U2, Gwen Stefani) and the track was mixed by multi Grammy award winner Chris Lord Alge. When asked about working with Tara, Alge expressed " (Tara has) pure vocal emotion mixed with the best from the past and the best from the future.. true honesty."
Tara is no stranger to the spotlight - she's starred in the critically acclaimed Broadway production of HAIRSPRAY, followed by a performance at the famed Hollywood Bowl alongside Nick Jonas, Drew Carey, and John Stamos. The devotion to her music has sent Tara on a journey from Toronto to New York, Chicago to Los Angeles, and along the way has developed and refined the art of contemporary pop music.
