Tel Aviv's The Young Professionals released the official video for their "imaginative take" on Lorde's "400 Lux" on Friday. The cover is available on the band's most recent album Remixes and Covers, which is now available on iTunes.
"One of the things we really enjoy doing is taking songs we love and making them our own," the duo remark. "Sometimes we hear a song that we like and we immediately feel that we can take it and give it a twist that will present it in a new and interesting way. For us, Lorde is one of the most interesting artists of the last year - we love the album, melodies, lyrics and the special vibe. When we heard '400 Lux,' we thought we could present it in a new and totally different way." - TYP
Remixes and Covers released in the U.S. and Canada on July 31st via Casablanca/Republic Records. The album has received rave reviews from sources like Noisey, Idolator,Advocate, The Music Ninja, Earmilk, Raver Rafting, EQ Music Blog, and several others, and features infectious remixes of artists like Imagine Dragons, Tove Lo, BORNS, ABBA, and more. The band's widely embraced single "All Of It But Me" saw much recent success during the spring, which also came with its own set of electrifying remixes.
