Listen to Jason Sager's New Single 'Sunshine'

New York songwriter Jason Sager combines the best of the electronic warmth and drama of the New Romantics with contemporary pop sensibilities. – BAEBLE MUSIC

New York City pop singer/songwriter Jason Sager has premiered his new single “Sunshine,” to be featured on his debut EPPanoramic View, which is set for release on November 13. Trained in the classics and inspired by the power and reach of pop music, Jason has created his unique singer/songwriter style by blending pop and rock with electronic elements. He cites artists ranging from Ben Folds and Coldplay to Sara Bareilles, John Mayer, Jamie Cullum, Phoenix and musical theater innovator Jason Robert Brown, as his inspiration. Baeble Music refers to “Sunshine” as “Maroon 5-esque.” Panoramic Viewfeatures the Florida-born artist on vocals and keyboards, co-producing and performing his original songs.

Sager is a champion of creating tunes that speak to critics and fans alike through relatable lyrics, striking beats, and catchy melodies. He is Princeton trained but New York City’s allure is what really stole his heart. Upon leaving Princeton and moving to the Big Apple, Sager dove into even more musical activities, including teaching low-income children at Harlem Children’s Zone, serving as music director at a handful of youth theater camps and workshops, and booking non-stop gigs and sessions. The results led to the creation of Panoramic View, which introduces his creative range and deep inner passion to communicate via song. "When we began, for me it was more about developing and experimenting with my sound," Sager says. "But it also came together as something more cohesive than I'd expected. All the songs are about relationships in one way or another. That's why I call it Panoramic View; it's about love and life as seen from different vantage points."
