Review Tuesday: The Skull by Philip K. Dick

THE SKULL
by Philip K. Dick
A bounty hunter is sent back in time to eliminate the mysterious founder of The Church using only the man's skull and some sketchy information.
The great authors from the golden age of science fiction adored time travel paradoxes. From the great mind that gave us the stories that became movies like TOTAL RECALL, BLADE RUNNER, and MINORITY REPORT, Philip K. Dick gave us THE SKULL.

This is a clever short story. Politics and time travel mixing in one story. Nowadays we have seen stories like this a bunch of times so it's not especially Earth shattering while you read it. It's almost predictable. It's still relevant. Politics wanting to invade your life so bad that it's willing to send someone back in time to change things. How can that end up in any way but badly?

It's fun and short, so you don't feel like you're wasting your time. Another classic from a sci-fi mastermind! It's even better when you can get it for free in KINDLE format!
