Review Tuesday: MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT, June 12, 2016 @ Revolution

MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT
Bella Morte, Liquid Blonde, Daybreak & The Shadows, Bitter Grace
@ Revolution Bar & Music Hall
Amityville, NY
June 12, 2016

I did something I have never done before when it came to this show. Knowing full well that there was a total of five bands performing and that we were only interested in the headlining act, we showed up at REVOLUTION at 9:30. We were surprised that the floor was empty and walked right up the to the center of the stage and took up spots right there.

At ten o'clock, MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT took the stage. The band consists of Groovie Mann on vocals, Buzz McCoy on keys, Mimi Star on bass, Westin Halverson on guitars and two women who came out for back-up vocals in certain songs.

Setlist
  1. Witchpunkrockstar
  2. Leathersex
  3. Bella Piranha
  4. Sex on Wheelz
  5. Flesh Playhouse
  6. Disko Fleshpot
  7. Blue Buddha
  8. The Days of Swine and Roses
  9. Kooler Than Jesus
  10. A Girl Doesn't Get Killed by a Make-Believe Lover... 'Cuz It's Hot
  11. Ride the Mindway
  12. A Daisy Chain 4 Satan
  13. After the Flesh
Encore:
  1. Final Blindness

The performance was about 1.25 hours. The band sounded great and they had a good time performing which goes a long way in my book. We had a great time and would highly recommend seeing THRILL KILL KULT if you were considering seeing the band who performed during the big gun fight scene during THE CROW.
