Review Tuesday: Hell House LLC [2015]

Hell House LLC
Strange things occur when a group of friends convert an abandoned hotel into a haunted house attraction for Halloween.
Completely at random Mrs Bax0jayz and I decided to watch this movie. We were looking for horror, but nothing seemed interesting, so we gave this a shot.

Shot from the perspective of a crew of investigative journalists, this film follows a group of friends who assemble those haunted houses that pop up for Halloween for good scary fun. Set in upstate NY, this abandoned hotel in a secluded area seemed like the perfect place to work with. It was built in the early 80s and had a dubious history at best, a bad reputation with the local folks at worst.

Working with all that the group got busy. Almost immediately strange things started happening. From there it's a roller coaster ride until the grisly ending(s).

This was fun and different from your usual found footage horror films, so it was really fun to watch. Additionally, the wife and I actually visited this haunted house which goes by the name Hilton Hotel of Horror in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains. Several of the sets were exactly as WE had seen it last October. We enjoyed the movie thoroughly and highly recommend it if you're in the mood for a creepy time!
