Five years after the events of The Infinity War, the team gets back together in a desperate attempt to undo the work of Thanos.

It's not often that I bother seeing a movie opening weekend, but when I get to see a blockbuster at the NYC Premier I can't say no especially when it's AVENGERS: ENDGAME.

In case you live under a or have been in a coma for over a decade, this movie is the funnel that over twenty Marvel Cinematic Universe Films flow down into. After a decade of development across the various Marvel franchises this film was the ultimate goal. 

I won't post anything in here that might be considered a spoiler. However I will say this up front:

THERE ARE NO EASTER EGGS IN THE FINAL CREDITS. GO TO THE BATHROOM. YOUR KIDNEYS WILL THANK YOU!

That out of the way, I can commence my proper review. 

The movie starts off immediately after the events of INFINITY WAR. Within the first fifteen minutes our heroes strike back at Thanos but fail in their goal of restoration of the universe. The movie picks up five years later when an odd series of events allows the Avengers to attempt a desperate plan. 

The story is excellent. Plenty of humor. Lots of battles and things going BOOM. Tons of action. All the stuff you go to a super hero movie is in here. It better, it's some THREE HOURS long! But it wasn't filler, it was all needed for the grand scheme of the film. 

I definitely would call this final installment in this phase of the MCU quite good and well worth your time to see!
