Review Tuesday: Christmas Bloody Christmas (2022)

Christmas Bloody Christmas (2022) – Review | Heaven of Horror
Christmas Bloody Christmas
(2022)
An animatronic Santa unleashes violence on a small town.
I saw that this movie was popular, so I coaxed Mrs Bax0jayz into seeing it.

A small sleepy town is settling in for Christmas Eve. The last shops are closing down. In the local toy store the life-sized animated Santa began to stir. As it turned out, a defense contractor that built robots to go out into the field converted some surplus into these amazing animated Santa Claus decorations. Unfortunately, something was causing them to go back on their war programming, making them want to kill everyone in sight. Of course that happens in this little town. The focus is on the shockingly foul-mouthed record store owner, Tory (Riley Dandy).

A simple description of this movie would be, Christmas Bloody Christmas is a Holiday Season remake of TERMINATOR written and directed Quentin Tarrantino.

I would call this movie OKAY. It's a Holiday horror film. Too much blah blah blah. The end sequence just dragged on way too long. Most of the characters aren't likeable at all. This movie is the longest hour and a half. It felt like a short film that was expanded, but they weren't sure how to do it, so scenes were just dragged out. It's not great, not terrible. It's okay.
