Godzilla
Minus One
[2023]
One man's failure during WW2 is haunted by the return of Godzilla.
Earlier this month Dicktor Von Doomcock gave amazing reviews to this latest Godzilla movie. So I approached Mrs. Baxojayz with a suggestion. "Hey, any interest in the new Godzilla movie? I hear it's really good..."

So here's the skinny. A Kamikaze pilots ditches his mission and comes in for repairs. They can find nothing wrong with his plane, therefore no reason for him to scratch his mission and die honorably for Japan. That night Godzilla comes ashore and kills everyone in the camp. He was surprisingly small, but vicious.

After the war that same man is haunted by his actions, or rather IN-actions during WW2. The rest of the movie is about this man trying to reconcile his life and his actions. His personal demons might rival the menace of Godzilla, that has appeared at Japan promising death and destruction.

In all way sou can imagine I would call this an amazing movie. The monster effects were OUTSTANDING. From what I have gleaned they were all old-fashioned practical effects, and very little CGI. The script is great. The acting to top notch. This might be one of the scariest movies of the year! They even used some traditional Godzilla music in the movie!

So that's about all I will say on this matter. The movie was a treat for monster-movie fans. If you grew up with the weekly monster movies and the occasional monster-week after school programming, this was a genuine treat! Try to check it out on the big screen while you can!
