lily-livered \LIL-ee-LIV-erd\, noun:

• Weak or lacking in courage; cowardly; pusillanimous.

Lily-livered was first used in English by Shakespeare in Macbeth. The liver was supposedly the seat of passion and was typically dark red or brown. Since a lily is pale and light-colored, a lily-livered person was weak and passionless.  

 

Eh hole 

• A Canadian asshole.

Doug: He is not an asshole, he is Canadian.
Bart: Ooh, so he is an Eh hole!

History

• Louvre: the former royal French palace opened as a museum; it is now the most-visited art museum in the world (1793)
• x-rays: were discovered by William Röntgen; he was awarded the first Nobel Prize in Physics for this achievement (1895)
