Amazon Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition (32 GB) – With color display, auto-adjusting front light, wireless charging, and long battery life
I probably should've reviewed this a long time ago. I got this device as a birthday gift from my best friend. She knew I had a pretty but fully functional 7th gen Kindle Paperwhite. To show her appreciation she got me this upgrade.
Since my old Paperwhite was pretty old, it still had micro-usb connection and ads. It was cheap and functional It had excellent battery-life, although I did have to replace the battery once not too long ago.
So what's new and improved with this device? This one doesn't have ads. It's the same approximate size and weight as my previous device. It's USB-C for faster charging and data transfer. It's 32 gigs. Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems like downloads are faster. And, of course, it's COLOR! You can see your covers in their full color brilliance. I haven't tried reading a comic book yet, so I can't say if those will be in full color. But you have the option of "warmth" on the pages that you read. You can also highlight in various colors. It can also auto-adjust depending on light conditions.
Bottom line? It's a great little e-reader with amazing battery-life. Yeah, I don't think I have had to recharge mine yet. It would also make a fine Christmas gift. I give it high marks.
