After a lifelong battle with severe depression, my aunt from overseas has committed suicide. At this point I have little other information. I'm feeling kinda numb. And I feel a little guilty. The last time I visited them they asked if I can find some / any info on any place that might be able to help her with her affliction. Alas, just about all my connections were either out of communication or had no useful information. That is, until about a month ago. I was speaking to my mother's neighbor and the girl is in the field and gave a name of an institution that could've helped. Maybe. But all the buts and maybes mean nothing now. She's gone. So long, my aunt.

Sorry to read of the bad news man. Depression truly sucks. Don't get down on yourself about it though, especially if your aunt lived overseas.
I did happen to read a very interresting story recently about how excercise (a brisk walk even) can help people with depression in many ways. It's been found that over time, if done on a regular basis, the excercise has some pretty significant overall effects.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
