Groundhog predicts six more weeks of winter

Punxsutawney Phil, resident groundhog of Punxsutawney, PA. saw his shadow today, Grounghog Day, thus predicting six more weeks of winter. The prediction is mired in skepticism as:

1. Last year he didn't see his shadow yet the area was brutalized by a horrid winter.
2. This year he did see his shadow, even with the temperatures at record highs so far this winter.
3. And he's a friggin ground hog! If high paid meteorologists can't get it right, how is a giant rodent going to do it?
