WTF Friday: Glory Days

(click pic for larger versions)

Mmmm! Burger!

These were taken at Denny's Beer Barrel Pub in PA. I had the "Two Pounder" which was really five pounds altogether with toppings and bun. Also you'll see a pic of Lori Weiss. Her burger was 15 pounds and she pwnz3r3d the entire thing in a couple hours. Shocking! Amazing!

Did Lori complete the 15 pound Belly Buster? I thought she finished the 11 pound 96er. I wonder if she attempted to break her 2 hour time in the past year. Thank you for any information you can provide.

These are the same pics from that day. We haven't gone back.

We might be heading over there again someday, I'm curious if she beat her time since then as well.

The link is:

Pittsburgh Live article on Denny's 50 lb. burger

I don't know why it was deleted in my previous post. It should also be linked to my name.

Sewell’s lightly seasoned deep-dish pie, introduced in 1943, the signature item at Pizzeria Uno, was the first true American pizza.
Pizza purveyors tested lots of new concepts in the 1970s and ’80s: There were restaurants that explicitly wedded pizza to entertainment, such as Chuck E. Cheese’s, where a life-sized rat boogied through the arcade, and restaurants that emphasized fresh and novel ingredients, such as California Pizza Kitchen, home to the caramelized pear and gorgonzola pie.
