(LOS ANGELES, CA – Aug. 13, 2008) Pazzo/Jar’d Star/Fontana/Universal Music Group recording artist Pop Evil released their debut album Lipstick On The Mirror this week.
At a special in-store appearance at FYE in Grand Rapids, Michigan the night prior to release, the band sold out of all inventory Lipstick On The Mirror, breaking a sales record for the store. Pop Evil’s debut album Lipstick On The Mirror, has broken into the Billboard Active Rock Monitor Chart at #26, with heavy rotation in markets such as Denver, Grand Rapids, Hartford, Cincinnati and Jackson to name a few. Sirius Satellite Radio has added the first single, "Hero," to power rotation, making it one of the top singles on the channel. The single, which was produced, recorded and mixed by Al Sutton (Kid Rock), is one of the highlights of the album.
Lipstick On The Mirror is available at all FYE locations, Amazon, AOL and iTunes.
Pop Evil begins their tour with Puddle of Mudd this coming Saturday, August 16. All tour dates, along with an ongoing tour diary with video footage provided by TheFlip.com continues to be updated and appears on popevil.com, myspace.com/popevil, youtube.com/popevilmusic and buzznet.com/popevil.
