Chris Cornell getting electric again?

Chris Cornell’s long-awaited Timbaland produced album, Scream is reaching stores on 3/10 and he’s been keeping busy rehearsing with his new band and talking with his fans on his blog. Since the break-up of his legendary group Soundgarden back in the late 90’s, the frontman hasn’t picked up an electric guitar but according to his latest blog entry on http://www.chriscornell.com/, he’s thinking of busting them out for his upcoming tour:

“Hi people. Here is an open question. Since I got my guitars back I have been considering playing guitar live again. Who thinks I should pick it up again? I play guitar all day every day as I am always working on new songs. Let me know if you think I should hit it live. The king is dead. God save the king.”

Chris Cornell will be performing on Jimmy Kimmel live tonight, Friday, January 23rd- and free tickets are up for grabs. If you're in the Los Angeles area, come along and see his outdoor mini-concert - tickets and all other details are available
HERE. It's a great chance to catch Chris and his band live before they head out to Europe for four exclusive shows next month.

He does. I regret never having seen Soundgarden back in the day.
