Okay, Girl Like Me by Katia is a single. But on myspace she has a variety of other songs to listen to, and a couple to buy.
Katia is a classically trained pianist with a beautiful voice. She sings like an angel. Then when you listen to the variety of songs she has, it's hard to pigeon-hole her in any one type of music. For instance, the piano and vox version of her song BAD that she has on youtube is amazing. And her electronic version is also delightful. All her songs seems to be somewhat different genres, but are all brought together by her pretty voice. I think her cover of Across The Universe is most impressive. That's a hard song and not everyone can pull it off! She did it easily.
Her more electronic tunes are catchy tunes and will work out fine in any club that has the ultra heavy bass drum beating.
Plus the girl being a FOX doesn't hurt. I almost find it hard to believe that such a pretty woman is behind the music and vocals. But she actually CAN SING with out the help of harmonizers and pitch shifters! Give her a listen!
