I don't care what anyone says, Dave Murray is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time. His solos are so smooth and beautiful. One guy once told me he's all trilling and hammer-downs in one blues scale. But YOU try to do that and sound good! So today the long time Iron Maiden axe-man turns 55. Happy Birthday sir!

Well, I'd honestly have to agree with "one guy" here....but that doesn't mean Dave's NOT a good player.
His solos have a trademark style & sound that's pretty easy to mimic, but it's ALL HIS, baby !!!
....and after watching those clips, I must admit, he's gotten MUCH FASTER over the years, lol !
Styles can be copied, but to come up with teh music in the first place shows the genius. Dave Murray IS the man!
