Pat Ruger:
Children's Reprise
(Pat Ruger Mystery Series Book 4)
by Jack Huber
A gumshoe is hired to find a girl who ran off with a cult.
I was previously unfamiliar with this author and series of books. It came across to me as a story to read for free in exchange for my honest review, and needed a change of pace so I took the plunge.

I was shifted into the world of Pat Ruger the private investigator.

The writing is smooth and easy to follow. Despite getting in at this point, BOOK 4, the story and characters are developed perfectly so you don't feel lost. The characters are well written. The good guys are very likable, and the bad guys are loathsome. The only character that bothered me was Tory. At 19 he seemed either too naive or plain stupid. Other than that I loved every page. Clever and fun!

Well worth your time to invest in reading this book!
