The Portokalos family travels back to Greece for a reunion.
The sequel no one was expecting or wanted, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 came out in 2023. This time around, the father had passed away. Before he expired he had complied a scrapbook that he wanted given to his childhood friends. So the family embarks on a journey to his island for the first time EVER.
Okay, what can I say? The first one was charming, as I lived through all that myself marrying Mrs Bax0jayz. The second was unnecessary and dumb. This time around it was just dull. This third one? How can a one and a half hour movie feel so long and boring? This is how...
The family arrives in Greece and is greeted by the mayor of the town they are headed to. I can't remember its name, or even the island it's on but the journey to get there is long and tedious. They got to the town and there's no one there, especially the old men they are looking for. So the rest of the film it's them trying to track down these old guys while there's some weird side romance story going on around Toula's daughter who had recently failed out of college.
In general, it wasn't fun or funny. It was gross at points, and plain dumb. It's NOT worth your time or money to watch this dud.
