Veteran's Day, 2004

Any Holiday like this usually brings me down a little because it reminds me of my Father who passed away 08/08/2001.

And I think about all those soldiers over the years who have sacrificed so much for our country and for our freedoms. I heartfelt "thank you" to all our soldiers from the past, the present and the future for what they have / will do for this great country.

The day got off to a good start...

Dante is doing better. He's doing a great job of fighting his infection. His appetite has come back pretty strong.

There was no traffic this morning. I was able to boogie at 85 mph (about 135 km/h) in the morning for the first time in months. Sweet.

That nasty bastard of a legitimized terrorist Yassir Arafat finally kicked the bucket. Bastard. Killer of innocents. Robbed his own people. Scumbag. They're even saying that he might've died from AIDS because he was a closet gay. Now that would be great. I hope that's true. It's great just for comedic value.

THINGS I NOTICED TODAY

I watched the King of Queens for the first time this season last night. Leah Remini hit the wall. I know she recently gave birth, but DAMN, what happened? She's all distorted and swollen.

Ian posted some pics of some new work on e2046. Very nice work.

I hate it when I have to keep telling clients the same crap over and over again because they think they are too profound for words.

I hate it when clients avoid paying their bill.

I went to a pizza place around the corner. RAY BARI. 2 slices. One reg, 1 pep. $5.30. WHAT!?!? That's insane. I was going to leave it, but was hungry so I plunked down the cash on this terribly overpriced lunch. Fuck you Ray Bari. I'll never eat at your shithole again.

A good man I know, Henry from Hobbyfan became a Father for the first time. His daughter "Chloe" was born on 11/06 @ 2:57PM. At 21 inches she weighs in at a whopping 8lbs 6ozs. I bet this birth was a relief for the Mom! ;)
