INXS Reality Show

I heard last summer that they were working on an INXS reality show. Singers would try out to replace the late Michael Hutchence. Hutchence was perfect for that band, that is, until he accidentally killed himself while jerking off. I'll never understand auto-erotic asphixiation. But hey, what can you do.

Anyway, I heard that INXS was on tour over the fall with Ian Astbury from The Cult asthe lead. Ian is an extremely talented performer. His vocals make everything better. Hewas the man that made the Cult all that it was. He worked with Messiah and even toured with the Doors. I hated the Doors, but with Ian singing I'm sure it had to be awesome.

So when I heard that Ian was with INXS I figured that the reality show idea was shelfed. Nope. It's back in the news. So it will be taking place. I think CBS is getting it. I hope this works out. They were a great band and I would like to see them get back on track.
