The toilet seat debate

I always make sure the toilet seat is down when I leave the bathroom.

Why?

I'm a man afterall. It would be easier for me to just leave it up. At the office everyone makes sure the seat is down too. Five men and one woman and the seat is always down. Is there some explanation for this phenomenon.? Why should 5 guys make their lives harder for the benefit of one woman?

I've actually heard her say that "at least we leave the seast down."

And I was thinking about that. Why are we putting the seat down for the benefit of one?

Women always ask if it's really that hard to put the seat down when men are done. Well, why should we bother? If it's so easy, do it yourself. Hell, the next time I go in the bathroom I have to put it back up. It's not that hard either, but does the woman have to put the seat up for a man.

So I now make a concerted effort to be sure the seat is ALWAYS up in my house. It's easy enough. Put it down yourself.
