From the guy who brought us "Smack My Bitch Up" we finally see a new record. Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned is the long awaited follow up for the huge album The Fat of the Land.
But there is a noticable difference in the line-up now. Liam got rid of Keith, Maxxum, and the other dancers who have been with The Prodigy since the beginning. It's kinda funny, because a lot of the credit for the Prodigy went to Keith, who only really wrote on the Fat of the Land. Previously it was all 100% Liam, and that's where they are now.
I think the collaberations in teh past were better for the Prodigy. This new product is just another typical modern techno record. To me there is no difference from this to the newest Chemical Bros, Fatboy Slim, etc.
A pleasant record, but nothing stands out. There won't be any rush for this record, and the Prodigy may even vanish into electronic obscurity unless Liam steps it up in the future.
