Provided by the compucert On Saturday my brother had a little gathering of our side of the family. We got there after 4:30 in the afternoon. When we arrived my brother, Roger, was running around the yard with his two boys, Roger II and Reece.
My wife and I came bearing gifts of plants for his lovely wife, Ann, and for my Mother. It was a delightful day. A lot of discussions. Good food - Ann made some awesome ziti. Cold beer. Yummy treats. We brought an ice cream cake. That's my fav and I love giving them out.
My brother and I don't get to talk as often as we used to, and we used to be very close. When we do get together we become pretty deep and philosophical, yet sarcastic and mirthful.
And a good long day with the family I drove my Mother home. That, in itself, was another adventure...
