199K / Allergies

After the gathering at my brother's, I drove my Mother home. Before leaving, my brother was asking me to show him about blog, so I was showing him mine. His computer is in the basement, in the same room where he keeps the cats. We were down there for a while discussing online stuff, and the forthcoming nuptials of our childhood friend Ray. As we spoke my neck became very itchy, my breathing became labored, and my eyes started to itch. Seeing my obvious allergic symptoms my brother promptly ushered me out of the room.

So we get into the car and head off. The further we drive, the worse my allergies became.

Along the way my car broke 199,000 miles.

But it was no time to celebrate. My throat was closing up and breathing was VERY difficult, and my eyes were swelling shut. When we arrived at my Mother's home she asked me to come in and splash water over my face. It actually helped a little. I was able to drive back home with the aid of the vent blowing cold air into my face.

When I got home I looked into the mirror. I had a rash all over my neck, it looked like I had two black swollen eyes, and the whites of my eyes were all red. After a very hot shower I was feeling much better, but two days later I'm still feeling the after effects from it.
