Mother's Day Pt 2 / Evil Dead 2

So we went to the inlaws on Sunday. We had a plant and a cake for her too. Other than that, not much else went on.

Except for the movie we rented.

Despite how rough Evil Dead was, I decided to check out Evil Dead 2.

This was very interesting. The movie was a very similar concept as the first one, but it was like they completely ignored that the first one ever occurred. Not really a sequel at all. It had some really funny scenes. Much better special effects. It was generally a far better movie than the original. Apparently they had a budget for this one. There were some slow spots, but for the most part, it was very entertaining. It also leaves the end open for the third Evil Dead movie, ARMY OF DARKNESS, which I plan to rent next.
