No Sunoco

I will avoid Sunoco Gasoline for the rest of my life.

I know. All the hi-po guys love Sunoco because they sell 94 octane at the pump. I've never used it, myself, but after seeing it's lower grades effects on cars is enough to want to steer clear.

My Subaru can barely run on that shit. I think it'll run better on my urine than Sunoco.

My bro-in-law's 1991 Lumina has had huge problems from Sunoco. My wife had that car for years and gave it to her bro. He was a big Sunoco fan because of the 94. So he just continued using it in the Lumina. The car has run unevenly the whole time. He's been through several fuel filters, and two fuel pumps. You can understand when the factory original one went. It was over 10 years old. But when the heavy duty Carter pump I bought went bad in less than a year, you have to look at something else. After he replaced the last gas pump he changed gas companies. Now the car runs as smoothly as it did when he got it from us. All the years Stacey had that thing it ran only on Amoco premium. Now I think he's running it on Mobil middle grade.

Mobil's never run well in any of my cars either, but that's another story. It never burned out a gas pump on me.
