Lighters banned on airplanes

They passed a law a couple months ago that you cannot bring lighters onto commercial air flights. However, last year in November, an overzealous screener saw fit to "seize" my favorite lighter. It was a gift from a good friend over ten years ago, and was undoubtedly the best butane lighter I have ever had the opportunity to use.

The screener cited that ever since 9/11 it's been illegal to bring lighters onto any flights. I inquired why they didn't seize it previously, as I ALWAYS carry a lighter on vacation. It's gotten us out of a couple jams. The screener just said that he's doing his job, and took it away.

That was over six months before any such law even went into effect. The fucker just lied to take my lighter. The law now states that if you are carrying a lighter, they MUST give you every chance to keep it, including MAILING HOME. I asked that cocksucker if I could do that and he said no. Of course not, he wouldn't be able to take this expensive lighter home to light his crack-pipe that night.

So in the end, the innocent is fucked by a lying moron, yet again.
