Yesterday I passed the 500 mile mark in the Focus. Now the engine is considered "broken in" but I will continue to treat it gently for a while. I don't want to mess anything up.
The car's running great. Very smooth. I've only put gas in it once since I got it. I might have to out some in this week, if not then next.
I have no complaints about the car itself. However, the customer service at Sayville Ford leaves much to be desired. I've been calling for weeks now trying to get some answers to some pertinent questions. How does the alarm work? What makes it work? What does it do? The clutch pedal is missing. Where did it go? It was missing when I got it. I want one. I need some touch up paint. The car had two big scratches on the front bumper when I got it home. I didn't see them at the dealer. I want them gone. There's little pieces of plastic trim behind the back windows that have some weird marks on them. I can't clean them up. I want them replaced. Also the taillights have some strange marks on them. I want that fixed too.
When I call the dealer they won't put me through to anyone but Justin, the dude who sold me the car. Somehow he's never there. When I was buying the car he was there ALL THE TIME, now he's never available. C'mon now! Let me pose my questions to someone there. I have a warranty here!
