Robert Moog, inventor of the famous Moog Synth of the 60's and 70's died at the age of 71. That was probably one of the most important instruments invented in recent music history. He, like I, went to Queens College in Flushing. How 'bout that?

He was a genius. In the 80s when bands such as The Cars, Gary Numan, Bangles, etc came out they all used Moog. Even Eddie Van Halen used Moog...
