Provided by the compucert My boss and I had an appointment to meet a possible new client last Friday morning. It was at nine o'clock, no problem. In the Bronx, ok problem.
We decided to meet at the office before heading to this guy's business. 8:00 AM. Okay. Traffic's been rough, really rough now for weeks since NYC Schools opened up. I usually wake up at 6:20 and lately I've been getting to the office at nine on the nose. I knew I had to make a serious adjustment for this appointment.
Went to sleep the night before by 10:30.
Got up at 5:50.
Hit the road by 6:10.
Arrived at my parking spot at 6:35.

A ride that had taken me 10 - 15 minutes only a couple weeks earlier took nearly 30.
Then the bus and train. I got to the office at 7:50. Nearly two hours to get to the office even leaving an hour earlier than usual. WTF? Something appears to be severely screwed up in the traffic and transit system.
