There was a larger Police presence in Flushing at the end of teh day than the beginning. The station was crawling with the fuzz.
Nonetheless, the trip home was uneventful.

They released more info on the terror threat. It appears that NYC jumpoed the gun a little. The attack was scheduled for Sunday, the 9th of October. Pretty stupid day to choose. Sunday ridership is the lowest of the entire week. The plan included having bombs in backpacks and baby strollers and coordinating the attack like the one in London. It appears that the three terrorists arrested in Iraq had a lot to do with this. Authorities are still on the look-out for a fourth terrorist who may already be in the US . That part's not too reassuring.
However I don't plan to live my life any differently.
