It's 10:50PM at the moment I'm pressing these keys. If there is no agreement between the TWU and the MTA by 12:01AM the NYC Transit Workers will walk off the job, effectively stranding millions of New Yorkers in their greedy quest for more money. They've been offered 9% over three years and they scoffed. They want 24% instead. No one gets numbers like that. It's absurd and perverse that they think they can blackmail the MTA into such an agreement.
