On DVD: The Fifth Element

I've heard for a long time that The Fifth Element is a great sci-fi movie. I've never seen it all the way through and picked it up for a look.

I was expecting not to like this movie as I generally can't stand Bruce Willis. He's in a lot of great stuff, but I can't make myself like him. With that established, I rented it anyway.

The movie was very enjoyable. The cast really drove home what their characters were supposed to. And they were all likable too, even the evil ones. Plus I think a heavy duty dose of Milla Jovovich really helps the mix as well. Great special effects sealed the deal.

A really fun movie and worth a watch if you're a sci-fi fan.
