Happy New Year Everyone!Not just a New Year but a special year. As this marks the 25 year anniversary of Front 242! In a genre of music where bands have either faded in to oblivion or simply have become redundant and unoriginal much to fast Front 242 are one of the very few whom have persevered.Surviving 25 years in a genre of music that has not gained acceptance, major radio airplay, dedicated monthly magazine etc. is no small feat but Front 242 like the "Special Commandos" that they are have indeed survived the cold music biz and in some places a fleeting scene.This past Nov 2005 N. American tour was proof positive that the band has stood the test of time. For me it was incredible to witness such a broad range of ages tha t made the shows attendance. From the ol' schoolers who have been with the band since its beginnings to the teenagers that were mere kids when I attended my first show.For those who wish to send the members of Front 242 a special anniversary message please do and it will indeed be forwarded to them.
