Running Scared. I dunno. When I saw the trailers and movie posters for it, I did NOT feel compelled to see it. When my wife said she rented it I could really care less. She caught a couple minutes of it in the theater while we were waiting for another movie. Ever since then she wanted to see the rest of it.In a nutshell, it's 2+ hours of mob movie. The twist is that it's really about Joey Gazelle (Paul Walker) trying to track down a gun that was used to kill a crooked cop. The rest is just violence and a LOT of harsh language. If you are easily offended, this is NOT the movie for you.
With the level of action in this movie, you're bound to be caught up. It just never let's up. When you think this thing can't get weirder, it does. Take NOTHING at face value. Then, of course the final minutes of the movie lead you in all kinds of strange and unexpected directions.
I guess that means I kinda liked it. I like action and not offended easily so my eyes were glued to the screen. It's not my favorite movie of all times, but I didn't want to sue the production for the two hours of my life back. If you need a thrill, check it out.
