Comedic genius Soupy Sales (real name Milton Supman) turns 81 today. He's been around since the 50's and doesn't seem to have stopped working since. I remember the when he worked for WNBC radio in New York when he was the midday guy between Imus in the Morning and The Howard Stern Show in the afternoon. Physicist Stephen Hawking turns 65 today. We should be so lucky to have one of the greatest men of thought living in our age. His contributions to quantum physics has made him an international celebrity, making him one of the very few to have fame from smarts, and not from a nice pair of tits. David Bowie turns 60. Considered the father of modern rock, David certainly has had an impact in his field. I can't think of a single person who can say they don't like at least a song or two of his. Even more astounding is when people hear his old stuff and don't realize it's really him! I'll remember him because my old band Trouble Is... covered Suffragette City.
