The two local groundhogs had a difference of opinion regarding the beginning of Spring today. Phil (in PA) says we'll have an extended winter while Chuck (in Staten Island, NY) predicts an early Spring. Since Chuck is closer, and is accurate 85% of the time, I'll hope he's correct with winter ending early! Saturday, February 02, 2008

Phil didn't really run back into his hole because he saw his shadow. Wouldn't you jump back into your hole if a bunch of peeps were waiting for you and then tried to grab you as soon as you peek out of your burrow.
