On DVD: Casino Royale (2006)

I haven't seen a Bond film in years. I remember seeing them as a child, but the young mind isn't clever enough to embrace the brilliance of James Bond. The last bond movie I saw was Octopussy. I don't remember it at all. Recently some friends highly recommended Casino Royale, saying ti was a load of fun, and not pretentious at all. With a recommendation like that, how could I resist?

Craig Daniels is nothing like what I thought the typical Bond to be like. He's a brute and athletic. And imposing. He looks like he can take apart an enemy with his bare hands. That immediately made him a far more likable person to play James Bond. Add Eva Green as the female lead and you have a movie!

Lots of action. Fast paced. A lot of fun. This movie gets it all in and keeps it moving. Definitely a lot of fun, and worth watching. It lived up to the hype.
