On DVD: The Illusionist

In the fall of 2006 two movies about magic came out. This one struck me as very interesting largely because it had the delicious Jessica Biel in one of the major roles. So that was enough reason for me to rent it not too long ago.

The flick is 110 minutes, but moves quickly as it unfolds the story. This movie is actually about the brilliant ruse for the illusionist Eisenheim, played by Ed Norton, to run off with his long time love, Sophie (Biel).

There are twists and turns, and it's a load of fun to watch. Paul Giamotti steals the end of the movie as his Inspector Uhl figures out the conspiracy a little too late.

This is definitely a fun movie to watch and certainly worth your time to check it out!
