On DVD: The Prestige (2006)

I thought I reviewed this already, but I can't find it anywhere in my archives, so here goes. This was the other magic-related movie during the fall of 2006. This one also had a great cast including Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale as friends who became rival magicians competing for the devotion of the masses to come to their shows.

The two never end trying to come up with the next big act, and the prestige that goes with it. The 130 minutes of this film keep you riveted as the two continue their duel and posturing and positioning.

The rest of the cast is full of big names as well, which included Michael Caine, David Bowie and Scarlett Johansson.

The ending is KILLER, literally. And it makes you want to watch the entire movie A SECOND TIME so you can watch it better with your new understanding of the events.

This movie was a blast! Every second invested was well spent! Check it out!
