THE BAND SET TO PERFORM AT ONE LUCKY FAN’S HOUSE
Los Angeles, CA – June 9, 2009 – F.O.F. Label Group is proud to announce the release of Consciousness, the much anticipated third album from Los Angeles–based rockers Smile Empty Soul. The album is set for release on August 25, 2009.
Produced by Eddie Wohl (Anthrax, Ill Nino, Jesse Malin) and mixed by Jay Baumgardner (Evanescence, Hoobastank, Three Days Grace, Godsmack, Papa Roach), Consciousness is an incredible collection of rock tracks that showcase the musical talents of one of L.A.’s own. With all of the time and care that was put into this album, Consciousness is Smile Empty Soul’s best album to date. “We have come a long way personally and musically. This album shows how much we have matured and we couldn’t be more excited to share it,” says lead singer and guitarist Sean Danielsen. There’s no two ways about it. This is the rock album of 2009 that can’t be ignored.
In support of Consciousness, Smile Empty Soul and Monster Energy Drinks have a very special treat for their fans. When a fan pre-orders the album, they are automatically entered to win an exclusive performance from the band at the winner’s house. The band will deliver their new album to the lucky winner’s house on release day, and play a private party for the winner and the winner’s close friends later that evening. The trio (Sean Danielsen, vocals, guitar; Ryan Martin, bass; and Jake Kilmer, drums) met in high school and started playing gigs all over the Sunset Strip. After captivating audiences all over Southern California, Smile Empty Soul unleashed smash single “Bottom Of A Bottle,” reaching Gold status, and became the hard rock anthem for head bangers everywhere. The track still receives radio play on Rock stations across the nation.
Smile Empty Soul has shared the stage with artists such as: Hinder, Papa Roach, Puddle of Mud, Saliva, Finger Eleven, Trapt, Rev. Theory and many others. They will be kicking off their first tour in over two years this summer to rock the pants off their old, die-hard fans and the inevitable new ones that will come along as a result of their third masterpiece.
