On CD: The Radiant I, The Radiant II

I was very pleased to get the two albums by a local rock band called The Radiant. I saw that they were compared to The Fray, The Bravery, and The Killers, so I was curious and wanted to give them a listen.

The description isn't too far from the truth. The Radiant are a clever blend of all the best aspects of today's alternative rock scene yet having a unique sound. I must've listened to both albums at least ten times. I was trying to find something more committal to say about BOTH CDs besides I really liked them, but nothing else would come to mind. It's the kind of music that is just very enjoyable. In fact, I'm trying to figure out how I haven't heard Matt Pinfield play them on "Local Licks" on one of the local radio stations. Maybe I should send him an email letting know what he's missing out on. But now you DON'T have yo miss out on The Radiant. You can check them out on their Myspace page, you won't regret it:
