When this movie came out earlier this year I wanted to see it badly. I can't remember what the circumstances were around it, but it didn't happen.
In a nutshell, Bryan Mills (played by Liam Neeson) is an unlikely action hero when his daughter is kidnapped half a world away to be sold into slavery. He has 96 hours to track her down and save her from some horrific future.
Previously Mills "worked for the government" and developed some connections and skills to get things done. It's sort of implied that he was in intelligence and he just as sharp as ever. from the moment his daughter, Kim (played by Maggie grace), is abducted, Mills is putting together a trail to go after the kidnappers.
The rest of the film is a roller coaster of thrills and chills as Mills moves like a juggernaut across the seedy underbelly of Paris to get his daughter back. His methods are vicious and with impunity. But you root for the guy trying to save his daughter.
this movie was a whole bunch of fun to watch. If you need some excitement in your life, give this movie a view! It's 90+ minutes well-spent!
