Review Tuesday: Semi Precious Weapons EP

I had the chance to listen to the eponymous three-song Semi Precious Weapons EP. I don't know what you'd gather from the cover, pictured to the right, but they are best described as a pop / punk band.

The songs are biting in the tradition of punk lyrics, but well produced and polished for the listening enjoyment of the masses. I liked the songs and found them to be pretty catchy. If you give this band a shot you'll find yourself walking down the block singing, "I can't pay my rent but I'm fucking gorgeous" in no time.

Semi Precious Weapons are currently on tour with Lady Gaga.
