Exclusive Performances and Interview with Sheryl Crow from MLB.com

100 Miles From MemphisNine-time Grammy winner and lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan Sheryl Crow recently visited MLB.com’s studios in New York to take part in its on-going Major League Artists series. Sheryl and her new band played songs from her new album 100 Miles From Memphis for a performance that will be available exclusively on MLB.com/Entertainment beginning today.

In a two-part interview with MLB.com Sheryl reflects on her favorite St. Louis Cardinals memories (her home town team growing up), from attending games at Busch Stadium to singing the National Anthem prior to the 2009 All-Star Game in St. Louis. She also discusses the rich musical history of Memphis, her inspiration for the new album. Other interactive content available from Sheryl’s visit to MLB.com includes an exclusive photo gallery and sample tracks from 100 Miles From Memphis. Additional promotional video from the recorded studio content at MLB.com will be available cross-platform at MLB ballparks and MLB Network.

100 Miles From Memphis was released on A&M Records July 20th and debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 chart behind Rick Ross and Eminem (iTunes). Sheryl is currently out on the road with a new touring band playing selections from 100 Miles From Memphis.
