Tamaqua, PA - September 8, 2010 - From humble volunteer performances in a small town to releasing his debut CD - singer/songwriter Cody Scott - aims high, but keeps his roots close to heart.
Cody's first public performances were volunteer gigs for the American Cancer Society.
"Back then, music was a hobby for me - it was really the only thing I had to donate to this cause I believe in. It's amazing to me how local people and fellow volunteers really got behind me and my music - catapulting my songwriting career." Cody says, of his volunteer beginnings with the ACS.
Cody - who is currently pursuing a degree in education at Bloomsburg University - has been playing music from a young age. This CD contains original music Cody penned throughout the last few years.
